The Essentials of Professional Welding Fabrication
Precision welding joins metal components into unified, high-strength assemblies using controlled heat, shielding gases, and specialized filler metals. Proper joint preparation, thermal control, and process selection eliminate porosity, distortion, and under-penetration across all fabrications. Unlike third-party contract welding, integrating MIG and TIG capabilities alongside in-house CNC laser cutting and bending ensures perfect part fit-up, tighter assembly tolerances, and lower production lead times.

The Right Process for the Part
MIG for speed and penetration on structural steel; TIG for precision and aesthetic finish on stainless and aluminum.

Full Assembly Under One Roof
Cutting, bending, and welding happen in the same building, eliminating tolerance stack-up and vendor delays.

Strength You Can Document
Welders work strictly to your drawing's weld callouts, joint profiles, sizes, and structural specifications.

Clean Finishes on Visible Work
Tight seams, minimal spatter, and controlled heat input keep post-processing and finishing times extremely low.

Common Questions Regarding Our Services
What welding services do you offer?
We provide MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, covering structural, production, cosmetic, and prototype work. Welding integrates directly with our in-house laser cutting and bending.
Should my part be MIG or TIG welded?
As a rule, MIG suits structural steel and higher production volumes, while TIG suits stainless steel, aluminum, thin material, and visible joints. Send your drawing and material spec and we will recommend the right process.
Can you weld aluminum?
Yes. We weld 6061 and 5052 aluminum regularly, using TIG for clean, controlled joints on thin material and MIG where speed and strength matter on heavier sections.
Do you weld stainless steel?
Yes. We TIG weld 304 and 316 stainless steel, including food grade and marine grade applications where corrosion resistance and clean seams are essential.
Do you offer on-site welding services?
Our welding is performed in our Brampton facility, where controlled conditions produce the most consistent results. If your project involves components that can be fabricated in-shop and installed on site, we can discuss the best structure for the job.
Can you cut and bend the parts before welding them?
Yes. We offer full-service fabrication, so laser cutting, sheet metal bending, and MIG and TIG welding all happen in one shop under one quote.
Do you have minimum order quantities?
No. We accept single-piece prototype orders, small repair batches, and high-volume production runs alike.
What do you need to quote a welding job?
Send your drawing with weld callouts, material, and quantity to laserworks@dependable.ca, or describe the job by phone at 647-504-5956. Photos of existing parts help for repair or replication work.
What areas do you serve?
We are a welding company serving Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, and the rest of the GTA from our Brampton shop, with delivery of welded parts and assemblies throughout Ontario.
How quickly can you turn a job around?
Lead time depends on joint count, material, and volume, but keeping cutting, bending, and welding in-house removes the usual delays between vendors. Tell us your deadline when requesting your estimate and we will confirm a realistic schedule.
Request Your Production Estimate for Welding
